Our Code Of Ethics
Occasionally, we are asked if we can supply a concept design as part of a quote being contracted to do the work. This is known as 'free pitching'. We follow the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) code of ethics by not providing concepts prior to acceptance of our quotes. AGDA is strongly opposed to the practice of free pitching, considering it to be non-beneficial to clients and agencies. See the AGDA site for more information on why free pitching is a no-win situation for all parties.

How To Write A Solid Design or Digital Brief
We use this little document when it comes to writing a brief for our creative team. It gives some valuable tips on how to get the exact information down, so that projects run smoothly and everyone is very happy. Download the Ems Design "Design Brief Overview" (pdf 70 kb)
We thought we might be extra helpful by compiling a step-by-step guide to the entire design process. From concept through to print, production and delivery, this little number will show you how it's done. Download the Ems Design Guidelines (PDF, 45Kb)
